Following my analysis of the comments, it appears that this number is indeed associated with Vidéotron, as I have a scheduled appointment with one of their technicians tomorrow morning, during which they will visit my residence. Initially, I received a call, answered it, but there was no sound, and the call was terminated. Later in the evening, I received another call from the same number.
Why Videotron calls feel like scams – what to know

Expert Opinion
Bottom line: treat calls from +1‑877‑380‑2611 like any unknown telecom outreach—verify before you act. Most reporters label the caller as Videotron, often linking the number to appointment or service‑reminder messages, yet several note silent rings or vague scripts that feel like robocalls. If you’re expecting a technician, let the official Videotron portal or your bill confirm the schedule; otherwise, let the call go to voicemail and call the company back using a number from your statement. Never share personal data or payment details on a call that feels unsolicited, and consider adding the number to a do‑not‑call list if it keeps bothering you.
