CCS scam calls: How to protect yourself?
Summary — +18773880758
Expert Opinion
It’s odd how often these calls masquerade as official debt collector warnings while using intimidation tactics. Callers claim you owe a payday loan from years ago, threaten jail, and promise to serve court papers at your door. The pattern includes vague references to "CCS" or "PPM Capital" and inconsistent details about locations. Never share personal or financial information, and don’t make payments to unknown entities. Verify any claim by checking court records or contacting the actual creditor directly. Block the number, report it to the FTC or your state consumer protection agency, and inform family members to ignore similar messages.
