Straight Talk scam calls: how to stop them!

The caller claimed to be from the technical department and warned that ignoring the call would lead to changes to my debit account, but I discovered it was a Straight Talk number and I'm an AT&T customer

A bank account charge was noticed, but there was no phone call, indicating a possible issue with the account.

A male caller from this number contacted my cell phone, introducing himself as Officer Jackie from the police union, asking for me by name but not specifying anything further, and seeking monetary donations.

Despite never answering, a toll-free number, 877 430 2355, was linked to a StraightTalk*AIRTIMUSSTRAIGHTTALK*AIR transaction that deducted $49.00 from my checking account.

Given that a 877 number is toll free, it seems likely that this number is being used for spoofing purposes, or the claim is compleatly false, as $46.49 was withdrawn from my account.

A potential scam, as they requested my credit or debit card number through an automated system.

Apparently, a scammer is utilizing Straight Talk's number or name as their caller ID, a tactic commonly employed by scammers to deceive recipients into thinking they are the actual person or company.

These individuals are attempting to deceive people by impersonating Straight Talk, using the company's name and number; caution is advised

Definately a scam, they somehow got our credit card informations and used it to pay for their straight talk acount. We havent recived a call from this number, but its showing up on our credit card statement, which is pretty suspisous.

A suspicious text message instructed me to call this number to activate my phone, which seems like a blatant scam, especially considering I've never contacted this number before and am unsure how they obtained my Straight Talk phone number.
