Straight Talk scam calls: how to stop them!

Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why that 877‑430‑2355 number keeps popping up? Most reports tie it to Straight Talk, but the pattern of silent drops, unauthorized charges, and vague “customer service” scripts points to a scam operation that spoofs the carrier’s toll‑free line. Callers often hide behind generic greetings, avoid leaving voicemails, and pressure you for personal or payment info. To protect yourself, let unknown calls go to voicemail, never share credit‑card numbers, and block the number through your phone or carrier. Report suspicious activity to the FTC and your bank, and consider adding the caller to a reputable spam‑filter list.
