After applying for the Chase Freedom credit card online, I received a letter from Chase Bank USA, N.A., with the address POST BOX 15077, WILMINGTON DE 19886-5077, and the contact number 1-877-470-9042. They requested my date of birth, which seemed suspicious, and when I called the number, there was no answer or prompt. This experience has led me to believe it's a fraudulent attempt.

A letter arrived with incorrect information, including my middle initial and house number, and requested sensitive documents and my SSN, which raised major red flags.

It's clear that this is a fraudulent activity, as Chase would never request a copy of a social security card by mail, given their ability to verify identities through applications and SSN records.

Following my online application for a Chase card, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Chase Fraud Department, asking me to verify information, which I refused; subsequently, I received a letter with a similar address and phone number, but it appears to be a scam.

Upon receiving a letter, it became apparent that the sender was requesting sensitive information, including a social security number and utility bill copy, with the phone number 8774709042 listed, while a Google search of the return address yielded no results.

I also received a letter with the same phone number and request for information, which I recognized as fraudulent since I already have a Chase card, and upon contacting Chase, they confirmed that I had not filed an application as they had on record

I didnt recieve any calls from them, however they requested my birth certificate and SSN copy for a credit card application with Chase that i never appplied for.
