Cox debt collector call? What to do now!
Summary — +18775700050
Expert Opinion
Block the number if you suspect fraud. When a debt collector calls claiming to represent Cox Communications, let the call go to voicemail first and note any reference numbers. Never share Social Security numbers, bank details, or passwords until you request a written validation of the debt as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Use your phone’s built‑in call blocking feature or a third‑party app to stop repeat calls. Report persistent or harassing calls to the FTC and your state’s consumer protection agency. Keep records of dates, times, and what was said – it helps if you need to dispute the claim later.

Can someone explian to me how you cald Suddenlink and were connected to this debt collector?
My internet went down, and my wife called Suddenlink to get assistance. When she dialled Suddenlink, the message went to an automated service that stated our service had been cut off due to lack of payment, but we had just paid the bill, which we later found out was for a suposed bill from 2001. I had returned their equipment back in 2001 and paid everything we owed, so this is clearly a scam. Beware of this scam!!!
