Why This Pharmacy Call Feels Suspicious!
Summary — +18776421554
Expert Opinion
Unexpectedly, a call from 877‑642‑1554 often pretends to be OptumRx, a pharmacy service linked to UnitedHealthcare. Callers typically claim they need prescription approvals or delivery confirmations, yet the number isn’t listed on the official OptumRx website. Never share personal health information or payment details until you’ve independently verified the caller via the official 800‑number. If the script sounds scripted, uses urgent language, or asks for a credit‑card PIN, hang up and report it to your carrier’s fraud department. Block the number on your phone and add it to a Do‑Not‑Call registry to reduce future annoyances.
