Dell tech support scam? Stop it now!

The reason I was given for not being provided with a Dell site was that the server was supposedly down, which I found amusing. Upon further investigation, I discovered this number had accessed my Dell information, claiming it was necessary to optimize my computer, despite my having automatic updates enabled. It turns out the server was not actually down, and I've had prior dealings with Dell support.

This is a scam impersonating Dell, with the actual caller being a scammer from India attempting to gain access to my computer to steal sensitive information.

A caller claiming to be from Dell Computer asked to access my computer due to supposed system warnings, which turned out to be a scam after the real Dell confirmed it and advised reporting to the Federal Trade Commission.

This number call me three times in 10 minutes, the first two times no number was visible, then the number show up, I told the guy with an indian accent that he is full of it, he hung up, they call me two more times, I didnt answer

I've been getting alot of calls from differnt numbers, all claming to be Dell Tech Support, they say i have spyware, but i usualy hang up on them, one time i called them back, and it was a Whirlpool service number, what a scam!

I'm shure it's not actually Dell, even though they knew my service tag number, i called Dell and they confirmed it.
