PayPal‑spoof scam calls – what to watch for!
Summary — +18882211161
Expert Opinion
Bottom line: the +18882211161 number is widely reported as a PayPal‑spoof scam that tries to harvest login credentials or payment info. Callers often claim a pending charge, a verification code, or a fraud alert, then pressure you to share passwords, bank details, or click shady links. Never trust an unsolicited PayPal call; always end the call, log into your account through the official website or app, and verify any claim in your transaction history. Block the number on your phone, report it to the FTC and to PayPal’s fraud team, and consider using call‑blocking apps. Stay skeptical and keep your verification steps airtight to avoid falling victim to this spoof.
