Persistent debt collector calls—how to stop them!

It's puzzling to receive collection calls from Drive for a loan that was never originated with them, especially since my son returned the vehicle to Citi years ago after losing his job. Suddenly, this company is calling about past due payments without any prior written communication, and they consistently call my office, leaving messages - it seems Citi must have sold them a false debt

I am 21 days behind on my payment with the so called Santander Consumer Finance, wich was originaly Citifinancial, I tried to work with them, but they wont work with me, my car payment is $495.74 and I ofered them $300, but they still wont acept it.

Despite making a payment with Sandtander, I continue to receive calls from this number, which seems to be associated with Drive America, a company I have no affiliation with

Clearly not the sharpest folks around. Online searches reveal tons of gripes about their persistent dialing. Fantastic. I returned the call (hold without pressing prompts to reach a rep eventually) and sparred with Rhonda, who ignored my harassment claims, then disconnected after I erupted over her apathy and refusal to share company details for a formal complaint (understandable, I snapped hard, but come on, it's basic public info). Dialed again, and Rhonda ended the call once more when I pressed for the business name and address. What a pro at customer relations. Third attempt got me Jackie, who provided the company name and a mailing PO box: P.O. Box 562088, Dallas, TX 75247.
