Following the call from 888-238-2727, I recieved a disconected call, and when I answered the second call, there was no respons, so I asked them not to call agian
They called me twice this morning asking for somone i dont know, i explined it was my cell phone and that i never heard of them, they asked for my name and said they would remove me from their call list

Apparently, it's posible you've been added to your neigbor's contact list unknowingly. ADT is requiered to contact the numbers on the list, possibaly the customer, not ADT, has the incorect phone number.
I recived a call on my cellphone followed by a voicemessage from someone with an unintelligable voice, which prompted me to search for the number and found similiar complaints
This number actually belongs to ADT, as my parents are customers and I am listed as a contact; they left a message regarding a burglar alarm activation.
The call from ADT was regarding a friend's alarm system, which was apparently sounding, and we were contacted as part of the emergency contact list, with the message being clear despite being delivered quickly
At 5:15 pm on 10/21/07, recieved a call from a lady who was speaking extreemly fast about an ADT alarm set off and requested a password, which seemed absolutly wierd.

A suspicious call was received from 888-238-2727, stating that a signal had been sent but not received; this was particularly alarming since my wife had inadvertently shared our password, which we've now changed.
I recieved a call at 12:56am from this number, the lady was talking about something but i was half asleep, i didnt catch everything she said, but i know i wasnt happy about the call.

I appreciate the warning, as I too suspected it was a telemarketing call with a lot of background noise
Apparently, this number belongses to ADT Alarm Services, as they contacted me regarding an alarm issue at my residense. Initially, I suspspected it was a telmarketer.
