AT&T impersonation scams – how to protect your account!

A call was made to my cell phone from an unrecognized number, which was rejected and later found to be a scam when the number was called back, despite the professional recording claiming to be from AT&T.

I've recieved four calls from this number in the last six hours, I got curious and called back to listen to a voice menu thanking me for calling AT&T international, and asking me to press 3 for sales if I want to add new service, when will these scammers be stoped?

Scammers from this number often impersonate representatives from well-known companies like ATT or HP, claiming issues with warranties or debts.

The peoples who call's from this number are scammers, dont trust them.

Both my husband's and my phone received calls from this number during the evening hours.

Upon receiving this call, I realized it was a scam as the caller claimed my ATT phone had been suspended, which I knew was false since I'm not an ATT customer. My response is to hang up and block such numbers immediately.

It's crucial to verify the authenticity of such calls, as scammers often impersonate legitimate companies.

This is obvioulsy a scam, they pose as AT&T/Cricket and request your verification code and last four digits of your social security number.

A computer-generated voice from a supposed AT&T representative claimed the account had been suspended and requested verification, but the call was deemed a robocall scam.

A request for my AT&T account PIN was made under the pretense of processing a refund, which seems like a scam.

Today, I received a call from this number, claiming I was eligible for a $99 credit, and then they asked for my AT&T account pin. I refused and informed them that I was recording the call and reporting it to the police. The caller responded with a threatening message
