Hang up, block the number on your phone, and file a complaint with the FTC or your state consumer protection agency. Never share personal data over the phone unless you initiated the contact and have verified the caller’s identity through official channels.
I recieved a call from this number today, but they didnt leave a mesage, I dont bother answering 800 calls, preffering email or postal mail, assumng its just another scammers
Unless the caller is a legitimate creditor, there would be no reason to engage with a debt collector, especially considering the two companies with similar names, one in California and one in Kentucky.
