Scam alerts: suspicious Remitly messages flooding phones!

Expert Opinion
Heads up, dozens of users are getting phishing texts that pretend to be from Remitly and demand account logins or personal IDs. The messages typically claim a transfer error, an account update, or a pending payout, and include a malicious link. Do not click any link, and never share credentials over SMS. Immediately block the number, flag the message as spam, and report it to your carrier and the FTC. Alert your bank to any unauthorized charges and monitor your statements. Verify any real Remitly activity only through the official app or website, and consider enabling two‑factor authentication for added security.
