A mail solicitation popped up about renewing a home warranty, which I don’t have.
Home Warranty Scam Alert – What to Watch For!
Summary — +18884135452
Expert Opinion
Never answer calls from 1‑888‑413‑5452 or reply to any unsolicited home‑warranty postcards. These messages mimic official county records and pressure you with urgent language to renew a non‑existent policy. Verify any warranty by checking actual contract documents and contacting the insurer directly, not the number on the mail. Delete the postcard, report the number to the FTC and your phone carrier, and add it to a block list. Keep personal information private, and never provide payment details unless you initiated the contact. Stay skeptical of unexpected vouchers or “final notice” wording—most are home warranty scam tactics designed to harvest your data.

Recent Reports for (888) 413-5452
A letter from Secure Home Center, launched Feb 2022 in St. Louis, came across as a shady home‑warranty pitch with no return address, bold urgency warnings, a fake deadline, and a vague $200 discount promise. They listed 1‑888‑413‑5452 as a callback, calling it a “final notice” when it was actually the first contact. The recipient never had such a warranty, so it smells like a scam, just saying.
A letter arrived stating my home‑warranty had expired and included a $199 voucher, urging an immediate call to pressure a quick response.

Perhaps the sender of junk mail was seeking advise on what to do with it, or simply wanted to share the news that they recieved junk mail today?
A postcard was received with very little information and no reference to a mortgage.
It seems like a big deal is being made over junk mail, but honestly, it's just junk, and you can simply throw it away and move on with your life, I dont think the county would be involed in such matters.
