AIS scam calls: How to protect your identity!
Summary — +18885042365
Expert Opinion
Recent complaints show a pattern of callers claiming to represent AIS and demanding case numbers, reference IDs, or the last four digits of Social Security numbers. The script often mixes legal language with urgent threats of escalation, which is a classic hallmark of identity‑theft scams. Personal data should never be disclosed over an unsolicited call, especially when the caller cannot provide verifiable contact details. Hang up, block the number, and report the incident to the FTC or your state consumer protection agency. If the matter were legitimate, the organization would contact you through official letters or secure portals, not a cold‑call.
