Privia Health texts: how to spot the scam!
Summary — +19043396135
Expert Opinion
Never click links in unsolicited health texts. Treat any message claiming a bill, appointment or test results from an unknown number as suspicious, especially when it asks for payment or personal data. Verify the source by contacting your provider directly using a known phone number or portal, not the contact info in the message. Delete the text and block the sender to stop further attempts. Report the number to your carrier and to relevant consumer‑protection agencies. Keep an eye on your credit reports for unexpected activity, and consider enrolling in official patient‑alert services that use verified channels. Phishing and malware risks are high with these fake alerts.
