Same experience here, definitely appears to be a scam
Card Member Service scam calls—what to do!
Summary — +19044219672
Expert Opinion
It’s odd how a single spoofed number can masquerade as a trusted card service and flood inboxes with false alerts. Callers claim to represent "Card Member Service" or similar, then ask for card numbers, IDs, or personal details—classic signs of a scam. Never share sensitive info unless you’ve initiated the call on a verified bank line. Hang up, block the number, and report the incident to the FTC or your state’s consumer protection agency. Consider adding the caller to your phone’s spam filter and regularly check your credit reports for unauthorized activity. Staying vigilant and verifying callers saves you time, stress, and potential fraud.
