Expert Opinion
Recent patterns reveal a surge of inbound calls from the 904‑507‑4603 line where callers pose as Florida Blue representatives. Most recipients report vague health‑plan references, requests to verify personal data, and voicemail scripts that mimic official branding, yet the numbers appear flagged as likely scams. Never share account numbers or insurance IDs over an unexpected call, and always hang up before providing verification. Check the official 1‑800 Florida Blue number on your member card or website if you’re unsure. Block the offending caller and report it to your carrier’s fraud department to help curb future impersonation attempts.
