Global Processing Services scam texts: what to watch for
Summary — +19048098454
Expert Opinion
Earlier today, a wave of messages from this number popped up in several inboxes, all demanding urgent action and threatening wage garnishment or legal steps. The language is generic, uses personal names, and repeatedly tells recipients to call a short‑code or text STOP. These hallmarks line up with classic scam tactics that aim to harvest personal data and coerce payment. If you receive such a text, do not click any links, call back, or provide identifying information. Block the sender, report the number to your carrier, and consider filing a complaint with the FTC. Keep a log of the messages in case you need to prove harassment later.
