REG scam call warning: stop the $500 gift trap!
Summary — +19055603759
Expert Opinion
Imagine getting a call that promises a $500 gift card while demanding a water sample—it's a classic bait‑and‑switch. Callers using the name REG or pretending to represent Eagle Water often claim you won a prize from a survey you never took, then ask for your address, homeowner info, or a free water‑quality test. Those details are sold to high‑pressure sales teams. The safest move is to hang up, never share personal data, and block the number. Report the incident to the FTC or Canada’s National Do‑Not‑Call Registry. If a follow‑up visit is scheduled, verify the company’s license before opening any door.

I had a similar experience with this number, being told I had won a $500 gift card, but after researching the number, I realized it was a scam and told the caller to stop contacting me.
Repeated calls from this company have become unbearable, with two calls made today alone, and the lack of effective solutions to stop these scammers is frustrating, making it tempting to abandon our home phone altogether.
Repeated calls from this number led to a callback, where a woman admitted it might have been a mistake but then threatened to call multiple times.
A woman called, claiming to be conducting a follow-up on a phone survey about water, addressing me by my last name, but I had not participated in such a survey, and she hung up after being informed of the mistake.
Eagle Water appeard on my caller id, but when i picked up, the line went dead. My friend use to work for them, and i know they have some agressive sales tactic, we purchaced a water system from them and latter found out it was a rip off, we could have gotten it for half the price from a local plumber, never again
They told me I had won a $500 gift card from a survey I took 8 months ago, but I didnt recall, and they said they would deliver the card today, but they needed to take a water sample, thats a scam, I verified the number and read reviews, and I called them back and told them to stop bothering me, they said I was ignorant and hung up.
It seem to me that this call violate the Do Not Call List rule, so if someone show up, you can report them and maybe sue them
The caller claimed I had won a $150 socket set for completing an online survey and asked to deliver the prize, while also offering a free water quality test, which seems to be a scam to collect personal information
Initially, I thought the call was from someone I knew, due to the abbreviated name 'REG' saved in my phone, but it turned out to be a woman from Eagle Water treatment systems claiming I had won a $500 gift card, which seemed suspicious, especially since they had never visited my home before.
Sometime's i look up phone numbers without a reason, i found this number and i was wondering who or what is "REG", but i didnt find any informations
