Paytel prison scams: how to stop them!
Summary — +19124473335
Expert Opinion
Block the number immediately if you suspect fraud. Repeated silent rings or robotic voicemails from +19124473335 are typical of callers using prepaid prison phone services to harvest personal data. They often claim to need a visa number, PIN, or verification, then deny the call and allege the source is a jail. If you answer, hang up and never share sensitive information. Report the nuisance to your carrier and consider adding the number to a call‑blocking app. Keep a log of call times and any recorded messages—this helps authorities spot patterns and protect others.
