Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why a call claiming to process your Canadian visa feels like a red flag? The pattern emerging from reports about +1 917‑444‑7294 shows callers posing as immigration agents or government officials, asking for personal details, credit‑card numbers, and even legal history. Never share sensitive information with unsolicited callers, especially when they demand payment upfront or request the first six digits of a card. Block the number on your phone and enable carrier spam filters. Report the incident to the FTC, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, and your local consumer protection agency. Stay skeptical and verify any official request through known channels before responding.

Initially, registration was made for a Canadian work visa post on Facebook, which led to a call from a company claiming to process the service. They inquired about skills, studies, annual income, and reasons for wanting to live in Canada. After supposedly reviewing the information, they requested the first six digits of a card for verification purposes, which was denied. The caller claimed to send documentation by mail to prove legitimacy, but it seems like a common scam attempt.
These callers claim to be from the government, handling green card applications, and conduct interviews in English or Spanish, but their legitimacy is unclear, and they send an email to apply for a form.
The call was strange, they asked me if I was planing to travel to the USA and if I wanted to pay with a credit card, they offered to help me with the visa process, but I had to register on a webpage, I found it suspicious.
