Postal service scam
USPS Text Scam? How to Spot Fake Delivery Alerts!
Summary — +19713466163
Expert Opinion
Heads up: texts claiming a USPS delivery change are almost always a trap. Most reports point to a generic phishing scheme that uses the postal service’s name to lure you into clicking a malicious link or replying with personal details. Even if the message looks official, the carrier never asks for confirmation via text. Delete the message, block the number, and never tap unknown URLs. If you’re unsure, verify directly with USPS through their website or customer service line—don’t use the contact info in the suspicious text. Keep your phone number off public directories to reduce future hits.
