The conversation started casually but took a turn when they asked for help purchasing a knife they claimed to have lost on patrol, stating it would cost $100 or $75. However, upon researching the Military Star knife, I found it can be bought online for $10.

When confronted about their scam, they become defensive and even angry. A clever tactic to deter them is to mention their mother or use a derogatory term like "bakrichod", which roughly translates to a vile insult. Recently, I've been receiving "extended warranty" calls daily, but surprisingly, all the callers sounded American. I invested in an air horn, which has been a game-changer - after blasting them, the calls stopped.
