A man called, speaking in a monotonous tone, claiming my business is eligible for 5000 new clients due to the corona pandemic and asked for my email address for more information. It was clearly a spam call, despite being on the do-not-call list. The best response is to decline or block the number.
After being called by this number, I was presented with a lengthy and confusing pitch, and when I asked for the information to be sent via email, I was told I would have a contract but could cancel within 14 days
