Today, a woman claiming to be an ING bank employee called me, inviting me to a meeting

A lady call me claiming to be from the ING bank, she want to disscus my bank acount

The caller claimed to be from ING, but the number was verified and does not belong to the bank

I receivd a cal from this nummer this afternoom, didnt pickup, checkd the nummer in the ING app and its not from ING! so i blockd it

This afternoon, I received a call from this number, didn't pick up, and upon checking the ING app, it's clear this number is not affiliated with ING, so it's been blocked

Similarly, I recieved a call from this 06 number in early June; it was a financial advisor from ING who wanted to discuss how to quickly grow my assets, since savings accounts dont yeild much interrest. I asked him to call me back on a saturday when I was availible, which he agreed to do. Before hanging up, I mentioned that I would first check the number in the ING app, as warned by users on this site, thank you!

Ik kreeg een telefoontje van dit nummer, maar het was geen ING, dus ik heb opgehangen en het nummer geblokkeerd.

The guy who call me was try to scam me, he say he is from ing zwolle and want to make a financial appointment

I talked to a lady from this number, she wanted to make a financial advisement appointment, i didnt trust her, so i declined, and now i checked the number on this site, and my suspicion was confirmed, so be carefull

On May 21st, a man with a Rotterdam accent called me, claiming I had made an appointment regarding asset management. I had no idea what this meant, but he said I might have accidentally clicked on it. He didn't ask for any information but mentioned that if I needed mortgage advice or asset management, I could ask. When I told him I already had a mortgage, he found it very interesting and said I could contact them when I wanted to rebuild my savings. This sounded dubious to me because an ING advisor should be able to see this information. I had forgotten to check the app but immediately called ING afterward, and they told me I hadn't been called. They said the first few digits were correct for ING, but it was spoofing. I was also told that when you call an official ING number, you get a menu. If you call this number, you get the same automated message: that they recently called you about financial advice and will contact you again. I tested this from another phone and got the same message, even though I hadn't been called from that number. If you're called, don't answer or provide information, just hang up if you're already in the conversation. I see some positive comments below, but I suspect these are from the scammers themselves - maybe they'll even adjust their strategy based on this.

BE CAREFULL!!!!! The message below is from someone who says this is a safe number, but its not, use the ING APP to verify the phone numbers!
