Veel ontvangers melden spam en irritante gesprekken zonder echt klantcontact. Schakel de blokkeren-functie van je telefoon of gebruik een app die onbekende nummers filtert. Vraag via de officiële klantenservice van je eigen provider op of het nummer legitiem is, en meld het bij de BelastingTelefoon of de Consumentenbond als je vermoedt dat het om oplichting gaat. Houd je privacy veilig en onderbreek de stroom van ongewenste oproepen.

As soon as you start discussing your right to object, they abruptly end the call, effectively rendering this right useless. Their behavior is extremely aggressive and I've had to block numerous numbers, including 026 808 xxxx
I called Vodfone/Ziggo (0800) 0620 and after a short wait, i explianed my situatoin and asked to be removed from their caling list, they tranfered me to another departement that handled my request

I constantly receive calls from numbers containing '808', including this one today. I no longer answer because they're annoying telemarketers with incoherent stories about replacing bad internet cables. Since I'm not their customer and my internet is fine, I don't understand why they want to replace anything. Nowadays, I Google the number, see it's the same scammers, and block it. Unfortunately, they seem to have an endless supply of numbers to call from, but the '808' is always a giveaway. It would be great if these people found a legitimate job, perhaps in healthcare or something useful!
