Bij dit soort oproepen wordt een “betaling van €300” genoemd en gevraagd een toets te drukken om de transactie te bevestigen. Het is een klassiek phishing-scenario: de beller probeert via social engineering toegang tot uw rekening te krijgen. Hang meteen op, belangrijk voer geen cijfers in en blokkeer het nummer in uw telefoon. Controleer altijd via de officiële PayPal‑app of website of er werkelijk een betaling openstaat. Meld de oproep bij uw provider en bij PayPal’s fraude‑team. Houd uw meldingen in de gaten en deel ervaringen met vrienden om de verspreiding te beperken.
