Fake Knab‑call? Tips om oplichting te ontwijken!

I was contacted by someone claiming to be from KNAB regarding a crypto transaction, however after calling the official KNAB emergency number, it turned out it was a scam and my acount was fine, dont fall for this one

The caller claimed that fraudulent activity was detected on my account

Beware, this number is impersonating KNAB but it's actually a spoofed number

This scammer say he work for Knab, but it's a fake transaction, pretty sad that peoples try to earn money like that

They pose as KNAB, claiming a transaction has been blocked, but the story falls apart when details are scarce, and a Google search reveals the truth; after being transferred to the 'ICT department', they request the installation of Anydesk, which raises red flags.

Beware, they pretend to be the KNAB helpdesk, dont fall for it

Beware of these scammers posing as helpdesk employees of the KNAB bank, they claim your account has been misused for a foreign payment and that your laptop and WIFI are infected, then they try to instal AnyDesk to gain controle over your laptop, dont fall for it!

Apparently, this is a familiar story: suspicious transactions were mentioned, followed by an attempt to install Remote Desktop. After keeping them on the line for 20 minutes, I hung up without installing anything.

They called from the Knab helpdesk, saying they had noticed some strange interactions, ofcourse i hung up imediatly
