This is what happened. A call from this number, 0678019035, came in claiming to be from KC, offering home internet and more. It sounded convincing, and I fell for it because I had been wanting to sign up for the internet deal. The person called 15 times over 3 months, talking about the benefits and trying to get me to sign up. They managed to get two phone numbers and an address from me, and asked me to provide confirmation codes from SMS messages. But today, when I decided to follow up on the installation, I started to have doubts. If the internet deal is free, why the aggressive push? So, I contacted KC's operator, and they clearly stated that this number does not belong to them. Anyone who is unsure can verify this. Clearly, these are scammers, and who knows what their goals are. Those who claim this is KC are either misinformed or covering up this scam. I find it alarming.
