Halifax scam alert – what to watch out for!
Summary — +441132798302
Expert Opinion
The number +441132798302 is almost certainly being used for a Halifax‑related scam. Most reports describe fake Halifax help‑desk calls or texts that claim your account is locked, ask you to move money, or warn of de‑registered mobile payments. Even the few genuine‑sounding mentions of Halifax support are outweighed by warnings of phishing and fraud. If you get a call or SMS from this line, hang up, verify the message directly via Halifax’s official website or app, and never share personal or banking details. Report suspicious activity to your bank and, if needed, to the fraud helpline.

After a serious hack I switched to a new SIM, yet I still received a missed call from this number on the second day, even though nobody else seemed aware of my new contact.
No call or text ever came from this number; however, it appeared in my online banking interface while I was struggling to transfer money to my son. I contacted Halifax via Facebook and was told the number is genuine for their online helpdesk but closed until 8 am, and that updates might delay payments. Given the negative reports, treat any contact from this number with caution in case it’s been cloned.
My Bank of Scotland accounts were suddenly inaccessible, clearly the work of scammers.
