On 22/1 at 9:40, I received a call from this unknown number while in Surrey, but I did not answer as it was not a recognised number.

On 11 November, our landline received a call despite being registered with TPS. The woman claimed that the warranty on our washing machine had lapsed. I ended the call before she could try to sell any protection or obtain personal information. Assumed it was a scam and blocked the number.
The caller's behaviour was highly suspicious, hanging up immediately after hearing my voicemail greeting, and as I don't know anyone in that area code, I've blocked the number
