The number 0121 285 7521 claimed to be Utility Warehouse – false! They’re actually from AQL Wholesale Ltd, unrelated to Utility Warehouse, so don’t share any details – it’s an energy scam.
I muted the call and directed it to voicemail, then blocked it after my phone flagged it as spam.
The number rang again; I had already blocked it after the previous attempt.
Calls have been coming every day for two weeks. I never answer because the number isn’t saved. I get notifications of a waiting message, but when I check it’s always silent. If they truly needed to reach me, they’d leave a voice note. Thanks to this forum I’ll block them now!

Calls come in at least once daily from an unknown number; I never answer, they stay on‑line without leaving a voicemail, so I blocked them after reading the reviews 🚫.

My phone showed a missed call from 01212857521, listed here as originating from Birmingham. It’s hard to imagine this being my local energy supplier given I live far from Birmingham.
Someone posed as Utility Warehouse, said they could cut my utility bills and even knew my last year’s gas and electricity usage via the National Grid, but the call dropped before any quote.
Seems like a scam – they claim to be an energy firm but aren’t, just hang up or reject the call.
Looks like an E.ON energy scam; I’m not even a customer with them.
I’ve blocked the number repeatedly. Missed their call, called back and they acted surprised. When I accused them of being a fraud, they got furious. Total nonsense.
A person pretended to be an E‑on employee, offered to lock in prices for a year and asked for my bank details after already knowing my address – stay vigilant!
I didn’t pick up and have now blocked the number.
