At 20:25 a call claimed to be from the DVLA conducting a survey; I told them I don’t drive, they asked for my husband, couldn’t reach him, then requested a convenient time, and I told them not to call back before hanging up.
I ignored the call from 01234 416012 because the number was unfamiliar; it went straight to voicemail with no message left. They shouldn’t be ringing me – I’m on the TPS, and a friend mentioned the same company seemed like a scam, just dialing anyone they can. These calls are getting worse, ranging from five to fifteen a week, sometimes multiple times from the same scammers using different numbers.
Many callers assume it’s legitimate because they’ve dealt with Aviva, yet what about people like me who have never interacted with Aviva but still hear their name?

The caller was following up on a previous call i made to Aviva and was asking questions on a scale of 0 to 10, didnt ask for personal info.
Answering an unknown number was a mistake; as soon as the caller mentioned “this is a call on behalf of…”, I declined and hung up. I was surprised they didn’t say “from Microsoft” and instead mentioned something like “…light”. I won’t be dealing with them and will avoid answering unfamiliar numbers.

While I was at work the phone rang, pulling my thoughts elsewhere. The caller seemed sincere, knew my name, dialed my mobile, and asked for feedback about Aviva, a company I’ve recently dealt with. The connection was immediate, unlike typical spam delays. No personal data was requested; they even stated upfront they wouldn’t. They asked only a few questions about my experience, without mentioning any specific products or my Aviva matter.
During the call, the person claimed to be conducting a survey on behalf of Walmart, inquiring about internet and social media usage, but no personal details were requested or provided.
After a pause, the other side finally said 'Hello', I responded, then another pause occurred before they hung up.
