Vanquis Bank’s credit card department calls incessantly if you exceed your credit limit, even by a small sum like £40, due to added charges and interest. They aggressively inquire about repayment dates. Responding once was futile; I had to specify a date, which I chose as my monthly payment date for ease. Their maximum credit is only £1.5k. No other bank or card issuer behaves this way, unnecessarily harassing over minor amounts, regardless of a flawless payment history.
