I picked up because the number seemed familiar—a foolish error. The background was very noisy, clearly a call centre, with a foreign voice asking for ‘Mr Karl’ and spelling it out. I told him the number was wrong; he replied ‘maybe’ and then started hurling abuse. DON'T ANSWER.
