Heard the same voice popping up across a bunch of calls, looks like a repeat scammer, yeah.
Energy scam alert—hang up now!
Summary — +441617140627
Expert Opinion
Persistent energy-related calls from this number spell trouble, often linked to scam tactics probing for personal details on loft insulation or solar panels. Recipients report no voicemails, abrupt hang-ups when questioned, and a pattern matching dozens of similar Manchester-area numbers, suggesting an organised telemarketing or fraud operation. Block immediately to avoid hassle, and report to Ofcom or Action Fraud if pressed for info. Register with the Telephone Preference Service for fewer nuisance calls, though scammers ignore it. If they persist, consider a call blocker device for landlines—peace of mind worth the investment.

Chris rang up with a vague question about my property’s energy, asked which one he meant and then hung up – waste of time, please delete my details.
A caller claimed to represent an energy firm but wouldn't disclose his origin when I asked, and kept pressing about my loft insulation – a clear sign of a scam, since any reputable company would identify itself.
Calls from this number constantly ring my landline, but no message is left – just a long beep on the answering service. I've blocked it.
Seems to be a fraudulent call.
I received three calls today.
I keep receiving calls from a series of near‑identical numbers. Oddly, the same thing happened around this time last year after the ABR festival – I haven’t done anything else, so someone must have harvested my number. I just ignore them.
These scammers are arseholes
There have been countless scam calls about solar panels from both mobiles and landlines, all using the same recorded voice. I've blocked around a dozen, and this latest number appears to be from I‑NET Communications, which I have no business with.
Looks like spam, so I didn’t pick up, they left no voicemail and I blocked the number – cheers.
