This appears to be a car‑finance scam; I never owned a vehicle, can’t drive and don’t hold a licence, so I never agreed to any refund and they shouldn’t be requesting further personal data.
Received a voicemail from “my claim group” asking me to call back for more info on a lender after supposedly reviewing an online form I never completed. I don’t have a car, never submitted such a form, and the caller didn’t even know my name – obviously a scam, so I blocked the number.
I answered a call from 0161 768 7177; an Indian‑accented woman claimed it was about a Christmas‑day accident claim I never made, told me not to call back and identified it as an insurance scam. I’m certain more calls from the 0161 area code will follow.
