Summary — +441618845244
Expert Opinion
The number +441618845244 is almost certainly associated with a sophisticated scam operation, primarily targeting individuals with claims related to car finance. Callers, often using fake names like Austin or Damien, claim to represent entities such as "The Car Group" or other car finance companies. They exploit personal details—names, addresses, dates of birth, and even contract information—to appear legitimate. However, the majority of victims report never having had car finance, exposing the fraudulent nature of these calls.
The persistence of these callers is alarming, with reports of daily calls and even follow-ups from different individuals. The use of spoofed Manchester numbers and poor call quality suggests an international operation, likely based in countries like China, as noted by one user. The aggressive and harassing tactics employed, such as repeatedly urging victims to click on links or complete forms, further highlight the dangerous and manipulative intent of these scammers.
Blocking the number and refraining from engaging are the best courses of action. If personal details have been compromised, victims should consider reporting the incident to relevant authorities to prevent further misuse.
