I've been receiving my dad's old scam calls on his old phone, including this one about reviewing a policy; the caller asked for my date of birth, at which point I ended the call.
A saturday morning was disrupted by two calls from a centre claiming to be Domestic & General insurance, so I played along as a frail elderly lady, but when I started feeling 'ill' citing a problum with my heart, the male caller became agressive and pushy, clearly having acces to personal information.
Receiving a call from this number at 8am on a Sunday was quite annoying. I chose not to answer, but I suspect it was yet another scam. They're constantly trying to sell me unnecessary products. I've since blocked the number, though I anticipate they will call from another one.

Caller mentioned my name and address, claiming to be from Appliance Services. We don't have any appliance cover, so I listened. They said everything would remain the same for the next year and a letter would be sent in 7 days with a new help line number. Then they asked to confirm my account details from my cheque book. That's when I realised it was a scam and told them off.

My iPhone is set to reject calls from unknown numbers, yet this one still appeard as a missed call; upon calling back, a voicemail mentioned telephonic surveys and an opt-out option, which I didnt dare try, having recieved 5 such calls in a week with Indian accents, very annoyng!
