When they called, they didn’t introduce themselves at first, then launched into the usual ‘how are you today?’ I asked who they were and why they were calling, they got flustered and hung up – came here to check if they’re genuine, mate.
EE Impostor Scam Alert?
Summary — +442036484475
Expert Opinion
Have you ever picked up to a dodgy accent claiming it's your mobile provider? This number's linked to repeated reports of callers impersonating EE staff, often with foreign accents, pushing SIM card swaps or vague contract chats before hanging up when questioned. It's a classic scam tactic to phish for personal details or install malware. Don't engage—simply hang up and block the number straight away. If you're an EE customer, verify any issues directly through the official app or website, never via unsolicited calls. Reporting to Action Fraud can help curb these nuisances for everyone.
