How to stop relentless LifeSearch telemarketing
Summary — +442037640181
Expert Opinion
Like a relentless doorbell, the calls from +442037640181 keep ringing long after you’ve asked them to stop. Many callers claim to represent LifeSearch, a life‑insurance broker linked to comparison sites, yet users report a mix of helpful advice and aggressive, possibly fraudulent tactics. To protect yourself, never hand over personal or financial details to an unsolicited caller; request written confirmation and, if needed, call back on the official number listed on the insurer’s website. Register on the Telephone Preference Service, block the number, and report persistent harassment to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Remember to verify the caller, avoid sharing details, and use official channels.

Following my comparison of market services yesterday, it appears that this is a call from Life Search, who have contacted me six times today, despite being blocked, and also utilise other numbers; when I asked to be removed from their database, they disputed this, claiming they had only tried to contact me once before, leading me to classify this as spam

Joel from LifeSearch, affiliated with Legal & General, contacted me regarding a life insurance policy review, had previosly asked him to call back after 2pm
Earlier today, before 10am, a call came through from 07825182103. I requested a callback after 2pm. At 3.10pm, they rang again from 07393147907, but I missed it. Two minutes later, at 3.12pm, they called from 08003163166, but I couldn’t answer. The same number rang twice in quick succession.
Following my interaction with Joel, I received a text message from 07860020026, inquiring about a suitable time to discuss my life insurance review; I responded by stating my satisfaction with my current coverage and declined their offer, but they persisted, warning me about potential gaps in my critical illness plan.
I agreed to talk to Joel, and he rang me from 07393147907, but when he started asking for personal info like my email adress, i asked him to call me from a landline, seemed unprofessional to discus that over a mobile, he then called me back from 02037640181
After insisting that I would only discuss the matter through my insurance company's official phone number, the caller became uncooperative, which further confirmed my suspicions that it was a scam, and I subsequently verified this with my insurance provider.

They continously call and hang up, definitly avoid this number!
It seemed legit at first, Lifesearch had alot of my informations, but then they tried to sell me new policies which made me suspicious immediatly
Recieved multiple calls daily for a week from this number. They claim to represent Lifesearch, but it actually connects to Get Insurance Right in Milton Keynes despite the London area code.
There was a brief period of silence on the line before the caller hung up, this experience is consistant with what others have said about a dodgy life insurance company, especialy since I recently requested a quote from compare the market.
