Ever wondered why calls from +442045205301 keep targeting seniors with medical alert offers? These calls are almost always unsolicited scripts that prey on health concerns, promising free or cheap devices while gathering personal details. Scam, trying to sell medical alert pendants
Nuisance scammer reported
Claimed I had a medical issue and offered a free SOS bracelet. Total scam!!!!!!
Received a call from this number, a person named Sam claimed to be a medical worker, attempted to sell a medical alert device, appears to be a dangerous sales tactic
Apparently, a person claiming to be a medical profesional in my area contacted me, stating i was eligable for a medical pendant due to my long term health conditons. When questioned about their workplace, they simply continud reading from a script, which raised suspisions of an automated system. This companys tactics are alarmingly exploitative, targetting individuals with health issues by posing as local health workers. As a resident of Leeds, this was my first encounter with such a call.
Following the advice on this platform, I've successfully blocked 02045205301, which was completly silent
Nuisance calls are wasting my time, they are very slow to identify themselves and their purpose, as i am always cautious about who is calling me, and i allways check the number to confirm they are not wasting my time, so i just stop thinking and check.
They were trying to sell a medical alert device, apparently targeting the elderly, but I'm not in that demographic and they still persisited.
I recived two calls this morning, a recording was saying i was elderly and had medical conditions, but i couldnt speak to a real person, it was pretty annoying
It's concerning how much information the caller seemed to have, despite data protection laws; the claim that an alert button was needed due to being elderly was met with skepticism, and the number was blocked
