Recently got a call, I called back once and then it ceased. Seems like a ping call trying to lure a return call – avoid it!
Unexpected Ring – Scam Warning?
Summary — +442046012289
Expert Opinion
Block unsolicited calls immediately to shield your privacy. These reports highlight a pattern of deceptive tactics, often posing as health services to push medical devices like pendants, or using ping rings that vanish after one buzz—classic scam manoeuvres designed to lure callbacks and rack up charges. Hang up without engaging, and report to your provider or Action Fraud for wider protection. Never share details over the phone; verify independently via official channels. Staying vigilant cuts the risk of financial loss or data theft from such nuisances.

Undoubtedly a spam call.
They tried to persuade me to acquire a medical device—apparently I qualify for a bracelet or necklace—and I cut them off, suspecting a scam.
Received a call claiming to be from the UK Health Department about a medical pendant, which I immediately hung up on.
Another scam call originated from the 020460122** centre, where only the final two digits vary. The telecoms should be ashamed of permitting such public abuse – it needs fixing!
The call was terminated the moment I answered.
