No matter how often I block this line, calls keep coming in. The bloke who answered was utterly obnoxious when I picked up. He claimed affiliation with BT, but I mentioned I'm with Sky, prompting him to yell that I wasn't getting it – they provide Sky's line rental and I must disclose broadband users. As I attempted to respond, he bellowed he'd favour me by ditching the intermediary (Sky) for a direct BT deal. Refusing, he whined about wasting effort on savings I ignored. I said I was working and had to end it; he snapped thanks for squandering his time. I disconnected, then he rang again 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Unwanted ring
Claimed affiliation with Sky, possessed all my personal data. Stated my agreement had lapsed and pitched a superior package at half the cost. Then inquired about upgrading to quicker, less expensive internet. Exposed as Virgin Media targeting Sky users. My deal actually ends in November, still active. Falling for it would've incurred exit fees. Accused them of deception and demanded no further contact. I'll choose my own provider without their ruse. They've used about 6 various lines, indicating a major effort to lure Sky clients.
