Claimed affiliation with Tesco Mobile, then BT and EE, warning sim deactivation in a week. I replied splendid, means no more dodgy calls like this. Who buys into these Indian scam operations anyway.

Another load of London rubbish - I block all 020 prefixes.
Posing as Tesco Mobile rep. Claimed O2 merger requires new SIM in 7 days. I heard them out, chuckled, then told her to get lost.
Female caller with Indian accent asserted she was from Tesco Mobile, worried about my SIM deactivating soon and detailing losses in a week due to merger with O2 and Virgin under Telefonica. I said I'm on EE and uninterested in the fraud. She pivoted, claiming EE was involved too and she had my number from an EE list – but I'm not with EE. I disconnected then.

Woman with an Indian accent, possibly Maddie, said she was from EE with a 50% deal. Asked for my email to verify identity. I said I don't trust unsolicited calls and would contact EE directly. She insisted on using her number - no chance
Woman with an accent claiming EE rep status, offering 50% bill cut if I confirm my email. Hung up sharpish. Same voice from another number yesterday spouting the same rubbish – good job I checked here.
I chose not to answer the call, as it appeared to be a potential scam.

Call offering a 50% discount on my next EE bill if I provided my email. Told them to send a text, but never received it.
Pretending to be from EE, offering bills at half price. Why would they do that when the bills aren't even high? I've blocked the whole 020 8129 range.
Someone claiming to represent EE with a noticeable Indian accent tried to convince me to pay my bill at half price immediately.
The call went to voicemail, but it was just background noise with a conversation saying 'same here, same here.' It seems like a call centre scam, and they tried calling again.
