After tweeting with student finance, I can confim that this is a legitamate number, although the voicemail system is a bit dodgy, I was confused at first because I couldnt find the number on their website or on any of the letters they sent me, but its real, so I thought Id let others know, especally those who are as confused as I was, Chloe.
Here's an update. On my student finance account, there's no mention of anyone trying to contact me. I'm still going back and forth with student finance via Twitter private messaging. It's really frustrating trying to get responses. The number has been spam calling since 27th June, about six times before I blocked it. Only then did I get that robot voicemail. It's completely unprofessional on their part. I'll keep updating here until I get proper answers. Why isn't it on the student finance website or in their letters? Even though they said it was a legitimate number on Twitter (from the official account), the lack of responses seems really poor for a company that seemed so eager to contact me.
