This call appears to be a PCI scam, with the caller claiming familiarity but lacking credibility
Harassing Worldpay calls – how to stop them
Summary — +443308089283
Expert Opinion
Clearly, the majority of calls from +44 330 808 9283 are unsolicited, often hanging up as soon as you answer, and many users label them as harassing or dangerous. The number is repeatedly linked to alleged Worldpay PCI‑compliance outreach, but the inconsistent scripts and abrupt disconnections suggest a low‑quality telemarketing operation rather than an official support line. To protect yourself, consider blocking the number, report it to your provider, and use verification through the official Worldpay portal or customer service. Never share banking or card details over a call that ends abruptly.

Unrecognised number by Worldpay

Reporting negatively in hopes WorldPay will recognize the harm to their reputation.
