A man named Sam phoned, claiming he was from British Gas Residential. He wanted to schedule a home energy advisor visit to assist with bills. Since I’m not a British Gas customer, I became suspicious. He turned rude and aggressive when I questioned how he got my number. Upon calling back, I discovered it was a solar panel company unrelated to British Gas. Both British Gas and Action Fraud have flagged this as fraud.
