They posed as Southern Water and tried to schedule an engineer visit to advise on water savings. Southern Water confirmed they have no knowledge of such a company. The recorded message said they were Aqualogic representing Southern Water – obviously a scam. As I’m on the priority services register and potentially vulnerable, I suspect they obtained my details from a data breach at Southern Water earlier this year.
Is that Southern Water call a scam?

Expert Opinion
Beware of unsolicited calls claiming to be from Southern Water – they often disguise a scam as a free water‑saving survey. If you’re on the TPS register, any unexpected call is a breach of regulations. Never share personal details or grant access to your property without confirming the caller’s identity via the official Southern Water contact channels. Consider blocking the number and reporting it to the Information Commissioner's Office and your phone provider. Stay vigilant, check official correspondence, and remember that genuine water‑saving initiatives will always be arranged through verified letters or emails.

After reading the posts about this number, I’m uneasy – some say it’s safe, others claim it’s Southern Water trying to swindle with sewage jokes. I never got a voicemail, I’m on the TPS, and it feels like a fraud, definately. Stay clear, folks.

They asked for me by name, provided an old address, and wanted to conduct a water usage survey. Informed them I moved four years ago; they apologised and hung up.
This is a typical 'Double Up' SCAM. The LCD shows 03332 400 255, but 1471 reveals 01513 759 830. Aqua Logic is a joke. They last called my landline on 9 September at 4.44 pm and before that on 3 May at 11.58 am. I missed both calls but never answer either number. They are malicious scammers. I've removed the 03332 number but can't remove the 01513 since it wasn't the last caller.
The caller proposed sending an engineer to assist with water conservation, yet, had they been genuine, they would have had access to my water usage records, which clearly indicate that my household's consumption is below average, rendering such a visit unnecessary and a waste of resources.
No message was left after recieving a mised call from this number, bit annoying
